When credit will rolls up

I really liked this, especially the part that says "cast in order of appearance: Adam, Eve then everybody else"

I have just bought the album (Proverb's FourthWrite) and I love it, there's this track that ends with this words "from the soil to heavens" where he featured The Soil, damn I love it... Oh it's called highly favoured.

Last Comedy Episode

Thursday 13 December 2012 had for us another episode of the Nelspruit Cappello Comedy Thursday, actually it was the last show for this year, featuring Moozy, Mfundo Khumalo, Jazzbuda, George Kuda (Zim) and Ronnie Modimola (Side Pocket - Pure Monate Show) hosted by Nelspruit's best Maanda Mungulwa )

It would be an insult to the show not to mention that these guys rocked the night and hurt our ribs as we crack with laughter to the original punchlines.

Thanks to the organiser. and everyone who made effort for this show to happen the way it did. Let's meet again next year, hopefully with more funny comics. The bar has been raised and no time to go back...

Emmanuel and Murendeni's wedding

Saturday, 08 December 2012, University of Venda, Thohoyandou.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him—a threefold cord is not quickly broken

Not for all the Apples, Peanut Butter and Jam

This is not a book.....................................................................I dreamt of my wedding........................................................the dangers of a chicken and a demented uncle...........................................owing a loanshark.............................................................what men really think about pregnant women, and, and, and.....................................................This is a diary as I write it and to change it does not seem right, at all....................................................this is my story and I'm sticking to it.

Not for all the Apples, Peanut Butter and Jam is the name of the book I'm reading, by Samkela Yolande Stamper, a new friend of mine, I met her yesterday at the HIV/AIDS day celebration street showdown in Brown Street, Nelspruit. She says it's not a book but a collection of her innermost thoughts in her diary. I haven't gone too far reading it as I only got the book last night, but as far as I have read I found myself glued to this thoughts of a single mother who was raised by a single mother. Samke is a Poet, Playwright and a freelancer that occasionally contributes to Lowveld Living Magazine, currenly lives in Nelspruit. She has just shot her first documentary titled: Where are the fathers?
Not for all the Apples, Peanut Butter and Jam is the type of book that covers almost every aspects in life that we youth of today go through in our everyday life, the financial struggle, relationships' ups and the downs of it all, family and support, this book is the type I recommend to young single mothers, however I also strongly believe that the aspects it covers affect everyone, everyday and so everyone of us would be of luck to read and learn what other people go through as well as what they do and how they keep storng to survive a day and the other. As a man, as little as I have already read I have learnt how we, as men, neglect our women and children and how this affect them as they grow without our support as we should.

As I keep reading I will be updating you as I finish reading and review each chapter.

I strongly recommend this book to all of you out there... should you want a copy you can contact me at 082 586 3798... Cheers

My Naturalles

Saturday, 24 November 2012, Urban Cove,Nelspruit.

Nontobeko, It was my first time meeting this pretty lady, great sense of humour and very sophiscated intellect... I definately have to do another photo shoot with this lady, I think I already have the images in mind...

Odelle Francis... gorgeous model, one of my very few indians friends. i must say it was nice hanging with this lady not to mention the shoot, we got lots of great photographs, just unfortunate I couldn't find time to process many but I promise I will post more of her  in few days...

Nandipha Ntengenyane... I am sure this, by now, is no strange face to all the readers of this blog, When I planned this saturday's shoot i thought Nandi should not be part of it simply because everytime we get bored or I need an urgent human-subject to try a new idea, she's just that person I have to use. But after coming to the set in her blue tight dress and bright red jacket, a black and red 9" heel with a dash of leopard print and a neck piece, I just couldn't help but capture few images to get this look stunning combination that perfectly fit to the new look of the dyed drear locks.

and then there was mate... the ever stylish Mbaliyethu Dlamini, we alos got lots of great pics in her boy look attire and mafia poses... more pics to follow. twitter - xtc4sho

Hanging with Maanda is always a job and you go with your cheek bones painful from all the laughing, a great friend of mine and a great comdeian as well, and just because his name is Maanda  (Power) he claimed he could carry that bike half a meter high... What can I say, he's a comedian so we just laugh and let him be...  twitter - @maanda101

Update : 18 Oct 2012

Oh hi there, it's been ages since I posted something in here, please forgive a brother, it's just that times are hectic and I've been very busy and exhausted, I'm not complaining though, I'm enjoying every moment...

so... let me update you, since Friday the 5th, I have been on the road travelling and documenting the TETA project for the taxi drivers as they're graduating for the certificates they've been doing to better thier lives and enhence their skills as drivers and as customer based service providers... unfortunately I cannot upload the photos as the client had not received them.

BUT...

Not to worry, as from today I am at the photo and film expo 2012 in Johannesburg, the coca cola dome. I must say I have yet learnt a lot in just one day and can't wait to go back again tomorrow, so many workshops to attend I get confused, especially because the presentations are run by the experts... so I got few minutes to take pics of some action at the Nikon Stage. I hope tomorrow I will get more pics though, check out this for now...

Till late.

Cheers...

Mumu's 1st B/Day Party

Sunday, 05 August 2012,Brooklands Lifestyle Estate, Centurion.

All things pink and beautiful, this just qualifies to be the best 1st year birthday celebration ever be. I got to the venue very early just to be stunned by the set up, from the deco to the cake to the jumping castle... and not to forget the goodie bags too, for the kids attendees of course. Little cutie chairs with giant butterfly wings for cute kids... all thanks to the parents of the star of the day, Mulalo Tshisikule and Tshililo Mudau...

Mbombela Music Fest - 28 July 2012

Even though I didn't feel like going, I kinda liked the fact that, at the end, I decided to go... It was the first of many lined up gigs yet to happen in Nelspruit in 2012. Brought to us by Amstel, Daily Sun the following artists in the line up, TKZee, Khuli Chana, Toya Delazy, Zakes Bantwini, Teargas and Black Motion, at The Mbombela Stadium precinct.

Well it was my 1st time seeing and Black Motion perform live and damn do they entertain... even though I loved the whole thing and artists, Black Motion was my act of the day with Zakes Bantwini and his dance moves under them in the list.

And not to forget Mr MC himself, my good boy Maanda Mungulwa who ran the whole thing smoothly and got the crowd cracking once in a while with his funny and silly jokes... and oh ya! thanks for the gate pass Maanda...

Like a Ninja...

Nandi says its good to be my friend because if she gets bored and I'm free she gets pictures for free... I know lots of people who can agree with her... but out all I know one person I have been friends with for more than a year, we talk everyday about everything and yet I have never taken a pic of her...

Belinda, that's her name, accuses me of getting her hooked to photography and yet I have never snap her a picture... she is right thyough, since I have met her, she have been sucked bit by bit into photography, as of today, she see things and scenery through the photographer's eyes and analyze and breaks everything to angles, lights and colours and how it would make a great photo if taken from a certain angle and a certain amount of light available, however yet she blinks when the flash goes...

Back to Nandi (Pictured), the above picture was taken to profile her eyes that tell million-dimensional story if you look and listen closely, the "like a ninja" concept inspired by Flo Mokale's love for his daughter Ngwedi and how he prorfile her through poetry like a ninja...

P.S: Nandi story is yet to be told.

update : about Ru

Photo by: Mbali Dlamini. taken today (17 July 2012)

Ok, in case you haven't seen me in a while, this is how I have been...

# Decided not to cut my hair, for no reason, really... just nje! I have been getting a lot of "questions of why" and the responses all being the same if not almost similar, "I don't know, but I think I like to see what change looks like"
Well the only problem with that is I don't get along with combs and hair chemicals, so ya I'm gonna leave it as naturally uncombed as it is naturally uncombed.

# I wear glasses lately, well that's not really by choice I think, it could either be because I kinda like this optician who's got an office next to my work building, and after asking me to take pictures of her family dinner, i felt a bit obliged to return the business favour, or maybe because I was to receive 50% discount of the service I requeired. whatever it is, I wear glasses and look like a nerd, well... that's not entirely to the glasses to blame, I usually walk alone to and from the office, if I'm not in job, I'm busy on my laptop, and I know lots of computer staff (according to the guy nextdoor who doesn't know a jerk about technology).

# Unless otherwise the situation doesn't allow. I hang a lot with my cameras, phone and headset, I guess the phone and headset part is not really new, so atleast no matter when you last saw me, there's still a thing you know about me that hasn't changed..

# and oh ya I blog now, even though my blog is mostly about the photographs I make and the photography profects I do, I like writing once in a while, and mostly I find it a big job to write a story, I still enjoy soing so though.

# Oh ya I have a lovely girlfriend, I love so much and she loves me to bits. They say she looks a lot like me and I love that...

The Expendables are back and this time it's personal...

The Expendables 2
Yesterday I decided to go get some fresh air, after all the busy weekends, the weddings, funerals and all the travellings, I thought a movie would do, so I got to Nu Metro, Riverside Mall, get myself sorted, and just by the room entrance I was hit by a big poster with Chuck Norris' face.. and i was like really? I mean the guy have been out the movie surface for long time, so I started to wonder what movie would that be and when is coming out and all that, went close to check it out and guess what i saw... the movie is the second installment of the sequel The Expandables... well that's not what really took my attention, but after going throught the whole cast and find out that all these guys are put together in one movie I was like "flippin! flip! flip!" I got to see this... so here are the bad, good, handsome  and ugly guys we love to hate and well... some we love to love. all in one movie...
